One long running transfer saga involving Real Madrid could have come to an end. Well, assuming reports of an interest in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being dropped is true.
It’s claimed by Ok Diario the Borussia Dortmund asking price has put of Real so we’ll not be making a summer move for the Aubameyang.
These reports say Dortmund – who aren’t looking to sell – would reluctantly let the Gabon international leave but for nothing less than ?80m. Which is a price Real are unwilling to match by all accounts.
Should these claims prove true then the promise the 27 year old made to his grandfather that he would one day play for Real might not happen? However, with speculation you never know what is fact or fiction at times.
Aubameyang – like all quality strikers – will cost a pretty penny and if this reported asking price is too high for Los Blancos I’m certain it wouldn’t be for someone else with it probably – even if no player is worth such money – money well spent.
