Dele Alli has the current – and potential future – ability to be exactly the type of player Zinedine Zidane would love to work with I’m sure. He’s a player who would probably fit seamlessly into the fold at Real Madrid too!
If the reports from the Mirror have any truth to them Real – having previously signed Gareth Bale and Luka Modric from Tottenham – could be plotting another raid on Spurs for England international Alli.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang might be too rich for Real at £68m but according to these claims Los Blancos would be happy to part with £50m – the price put on him by his Spurs coach Mauricio Pochettino recently – in order to bring the 20 year old to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.
Alli hasn’t long signed a six year contract extension at White Hart Lane – not that contracts are worth much – so that might make the job of prising him away from Spurs a little harder.
However, it was also claimed the reigning PFA Young Player of the Year is targeted as part of a summer shakeup at the Bernabeu and Alli is open – who wouldn’t be – to a move to Real.
