It seems an age since Real Madrid eased past the challenge presented by Paris Saint-Germain in the last-16 knockout stage of the 2017 / 2018 Champions League.
But, today, Real Madrid finally discovered who their opponents would be in the quarter-finals stage when the draw took place in Nyon, Switzerland.
With just eight teams left in the competition, Real Madrid were the sixth ball to be opened and presented with a tasty last-8 tie against the current Serie A champions, Juventus.
Juventus reached the last-8 by knocking out the Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
The remainder of the draw was as thus:
? Barcelona v Roma
? Sevilla v Bayern Munich
? Liverpool v Manchester City.
The two-legged ties will be played during the periods Tuesday 3rd April / Wednesday 4th April and Tuesday 10th April / Wednesday 11th April.
