Real Madrid continued their resurgence when it comes to La Liga with an away victory against Eibar.
The victory was achieved courtesy of Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a brace of goals, his 32nd and 33rd of the season.
Real Madrid opened the scoring in the 34th minute when Ronaldo produce a good finish after a good ball in from Luka Modric.
Eibar fought back though and equalised in the 50th minute when Ivan Ramis headed home.
But Real Madrid were not to be denied the three points and it was Ronaldo, in the 84th minute, who grabbed the winner.
The winning goal came after a mistake from the Malaga defence that allowed Dani Carvajal to cross for Ronaldo to power a header home.
After the game, Zinedine Zidane paid homage to the Portuguese superstar, remarking,
‘He’s a different and special player.
‘He knows that he’s going to score, he’s very positive. He’s from another planet.’
The two goals from Ronaldo make it 13 goals in his last 7 games.
