As we`ve mentioned before, we fully expect the Real Madrid hierarchy to revamp the Real Madrid squad this summer.

Barcelona`s dominance, in La Liga necessitates that requirement.

However, whilst we all sit and wait for the speculation to produce a result, Real Madrid continues to be linked with a variety of strikers.

Already, over the past few weeks we`ve discussed the possibility of the likes of Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) and Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich) being possible acquisitions.

Today though, another possible candidate has been nominated as a Real Madrid target by the news vehicle The Daily Mail.

Picking up on something first highlighted by the news vehicle Sport, our source is of the opinion that Real Madrid might be looking towards Old Trafford to sign the young Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.

Despite springing to prominence over the last couple of seasons` on both the domestic and international stages Rashford is unable to secure a regular starting place in Jose Mourinho`s starting eleven, often being rotated with the French international, Anthony Martial.

At 20-years-of-age, there`s no doubting that Rashford has a bright future, but although our source suggests that Florentino Perez quite fancies bringing the player to the Bernabeu, it remains to be seen whether Manchester United will even entertain the thought of selling the player.

My personal view is that they won`t, but then again you just never know in this crazy game of ours.
