As we may have mentioned previously, this summer promises to be an interesting one at the Bernabeu.

Although there is the possibility that our recent return to top-form could see the club win the Champions League for a third consecutive time, our failings in La Liga, whereby we trail Barcelona by a considerable amount, mean that the squad will be restricted come the opening of the transfer window this summer.

Already, there has been a plethora of names mentioned as possible, expensive, additions to the already star-laden squad.

Names such as Eden Hazard, David de Gea, Dele Alli, Thibaut Courtois and Harry Kane have all generated column inches in the media.

Today though, the insinuation is being bandied about that Real Madrid are set to rival several other leading European clubs for the signature of a forward who has really seen his career take off since he made a return to the English Premier League.

The good folk of the news source, The Sun, are of the opinion that Real Madrid are ready to swoop with a world record bid, said to be of the magnitude of £200 million for the Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah.

However, Real won`t have it all their own way when it comes to a possible deal with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain also said to be ready to offer Liverpool a huge amount of cash for the player who has already scored 28 Premier League goals, for Liverpool, this season.
